It looks like I managed to miss everything that was happening around town lately, but I know a lot of people were in danger again. Is everyone alright now? I really wish I could have been out there helping everyone...

Well, because I couldn't help the least I can do is try cheering everyone up! I went to the store and bought everything I need to make a ton of cookies. I'm not even kidding. I could probably make enough cookies for everyone in town! If you want some come over to 945 Beulah Street. Even if we've never met, these cookies are for you too!

For the most part. Not as many monsters, near as I can tell, but not that different from the time an angel stuck me in a whole slew of TV shows.

We thought he was a trickster at first, but yeah. He was a total ass, though, just like most of his "brothers." Totally unangelic, all of 'em.

Except one of them, and he's stuck here, too. Name's Castiel. He might show up here randomly, so don't mind him. He stares a lot, doesn't get that it makes humans uneasy.

How do you know angels, though? Are you from...heaven?

[ His brother felt the same way in the beginning, but it made Cas that much more awesome to them in the end. Sam'd probably like Himeno, actually.

Far from it. Cas just... pulled me out of a bad situation a few years back. Kinda been 'my' angel ever since, I guess.

Yeah, Earth. [ Pauses. ] Are there really that many people from other worlds here?

There are enough. I try not to assume everyone's from Earth now since you never know.

I'll keep that in mind. But, yeah, they came to Earth. I thought Cas was a demon at first, though, since we used to deal with Hell a whole lot more than Heaven.

Family business. [ Shrugs, brushing crumbs off on his jeans. ] You'll notice a lot of things around the house: salt at the windows and doors, and symbols on the floor. They're to keep demons and ghosts out. Don't know if they'll work here, but just in case.

I'm going to try and pull up all of the door strips so I can put the salt lines under them, but no. Try to avoid cleaning that until I can.

You might want to re-do the front door, in that case. Will salt really stop something like a demon, though?

It's difficult to explain, but salt actually physically hurts them and ghosts--well, as physically as you can get with ghosts. It acts as a sort of boundary when placed in an undisturbed line on the ground.

Disturb it, and they both can cross.

Of course who knows what the people who run this town are. If they were demons I doubt they'd let us have salt around the house.
